Profection Year Guidebook
Updated: Apr 6, 2025
To commemorate the start of the 2025 Astrological New Year, I'm proud to announce a brand-new digital product in the Read by Renee Shop: The Profection Year Guidebook. Listeners of Synergy to Synastry heard me mention this Hellenistic Astrology tool back in January's 2025 Energetic Forecasts & Psychic Readings podcast episode. It's a technique I learned about early on in my astrological studies and have enjoyed so much for both reflecting and planning purposes. I personally haven't encountered a comprehensive guide on Profection Years, so I decided to create my own! In this post I'll outline exactly what's included in this guidebook and how to use it in every chapter of life.

This guidebook is your new favorite resource for following and understanding the Hellenistic Astrology timing technique of Profection Years. Through this methodology, ancient astrologers linked every year of life with a Whole Sign House-Zodiac Sign pairing. Think of Profection Years as your own personal New Years that launch an annual theme and are bookended by each birthday. Use the Profection Year Guidebook for past, present, and future years of your personal astrology, without expiration!
The Profection Year Guidebook contains:
Profection Years Introduction
House & Age Reference Table
Time Lord Determination
Planetary Rulerships
Beginner Through Advanced Tips for Working with Time Lords
Profection Year House Theme Summaries
Overviews for all 144 Zodiac House-Sign Pairings
How Do I Use This Guidebook?
Open this PDF file on any device or print to have on-hand for reference! To personalize your view of this Guidebook, consider flagging each of the House-Sign combinations of your Natal Chart for easy access at a quick glance. For example, as a Cancer Rising I can circle Cancer on the 1st House page, Leo on the 2nd, Virgo on the 3rd, etc. Mark up a print-out version by hand or the digital copy using Adobe or your note-taking app of choice (e.g., Xodo, GoodNotes, EverNote, Obsidian, OneNote, Joplin, etc).

All content for the Profection Year Guidebook was written by psychic intuitive and astrologer, Renee Precopio, owner of Read by Renee. This product is for personal use only and should never be duplicated, shared, resold, or repackaged in any form, whether physical or digital.
