The initial phrase that came through was "recycling the reframe." I'm seeing a return (for some a regression) to older ideals and mindsets. There's a bit of a backslide into worrying, stressing, over-analyzing and excessively researching. Resist these impulses, or at least catch yourself part-way down the backslide. I'm seeing you essentially rock climbing your way back up the side of a pink triangle, lodging anything on-hand into the angled plane to give you a bit of leverage. Some of you may tire, with your arm muscles fatiguing (you weren't prepared for this at all, so how could you prep!). Others are swiftly making their way to the top in a matter of a couple days or hours. Those of you who are less speedy, due to being sucked in and distracted, followed by disoriented and lethargic in the ascent, will naturally take longer – think 1-2 weeks to get back on the horse. Depending on your recovery time, you may have burned through the entire month with the gradual slip and then struggle back to the top or, alternatively, have a solid week and a half to reflect on the cause and trigger point.
If you're looking to avoid the regression all together, don't fret because there's a glimmer of hope! The keys are: awareness, reactivity, and surrender. Fortunately, the awareness piece is covered for you simply by reading this forecast! When tapping into reactivity, I'm seeing quick reflexes to deploy tools from your belt. Some of you using a spray can of goo that gives you a colorful grip adhesive to the surface. When it comes to the third tactic... I get how surrender seems completely counterintuitive. But Renee, if I'm surrendering won't that mean I'm allowing myself to slide backward? Actually no! The fundamental principle of surrender is relinquishing control and trusting the universe and yourself. Yes, it does seem paradoxical to let go in order to NOT slip backwards and have to climb back up. And yet, gripping on to dated self-concepts and narratives (as well as fears, anxieties, etc mentioned at the start of this forecast) is what gets us mixed up in dysfunctional patterns in the first place! Surrendering to the inevitable, surrendering to fate, surrendering to love, trust, joy, passion, and peace. As I write this, I'm seeing you standing at the pinnacle and trust-falling right off the top, but instantly caught by a lilac cloud, and carried out of frame. There's something greater and more expansive out there for you than the walls you choose to reside behind.
Circling back to the initial image of recycling, for a second – you're being asked to swap out unsupportive narratives and beliefs for loving language and self-compassion. The core of which are derived from the classic travel instruction: put on your oxygen mask first before helping the person next to you. It's vital to fuel ourselves with the same love that we so freely give to others, without hesitation. When we provide for ourselves, we filter out the noise and conditioning (i.e., that taught us what we "should" stress over). We turn back to the simplicity of peace and surrender. We float on a cloud far away from the completely unstable triangle peak. How could we be long for that surface anyway? It's far too much of a balancing act to stand on a razor thin edge, when we could instead discover sacred ground. Fertile earth where we can plant seeds that grow into sturdy trees. Goliaths that we can continue to climb vertically (and securely!) over time as new branches extend and reach upward. We gain perspective from these new vantage points and have the option to climb higher or lower, going out on a sun-exposed limb or hugging the trunk under the cool cover of leaves. Wherever your journey takes you this month, remember that the choice is always within your hands and the knowing within your heart.
