Renee: Now, let's get into the episode.
Christine: Welcome to a very special listener episode of Synergy to Synastry.
Christine: Today, we'll be answering some questions from our podcast listeners, as well as sharing a live reading with a listener.
Christine: If you'd like to be read on the podcast through a write-in question or a live reading, please email us at synergytosynastry.gmail.com.
Christine: Today's listener opted to remain anonymous, and you can too.
Christine: Before we get to that reading, let's answer your content questions.
Connecting to Your Intuition
Renee: Jumping in to our first question, the listener asked, what do each of you do to be better in tune with your intuition?
Renee: I think this is a really good question, aside from the fact that we went to the Nuurvana Be Light School, and we received some training.
Renee: On this show, we have discussed more than once, ways that we receive information through our different clairs, including through our dreams, specifically.
Renee: We've been talking about that a lot in season two.
Christine: If I had to sum up the best way to hear your intuition, it's probably to calm down the nervous system.
Christine: It's really hard to hear your intuition when your anxiety is screaming at you.
Christine: Self-care is really important, and that includes things that help me navigate my anxiety, whether that's talking to a friend, talking to a therapist, going to the gym, going out in nature, for me.
Christine: Anything that sort of quiets the mind, so I can hear what's going on.
Christine: I have really good sleep hygiene, because if I don't sleep well, my nervous system is unsettled.
Christine: Try to eat well, I try to drink a lot of water, I journal a lot.
Christine: I meditate, but it's interesting, I don't meditate that often.
Christine: I don't have like a meditation schedule, which I think most people would think you would need for intuition.
Christine: I do it when I feel called to, but I feel so attached to my intuitive channel that I don't need to sit into meditation to connect to it, if that makes sense.
Christine: It's important to know that listening to your intuition is just as much about healing yourself as it is working the intuitive muscle.
Christine: And I would say it's probably 75% healing yourself, 25% working the intuitive muscle.
Renee: I love everything that you said.
Renee: I have agreement with many of them, and I know I would be better for doing those things.
Renee: And yet, despite that, so thinking back to the ritual episode in season one, we were talking about how I didn't really have any sort of a regular practice, that, spoiler alert, hasn't really changed all that much.
Renee: I have increased the amount of times that I do different types of self-care.
Renee: So I do that definitely more frequently than I did.
Renee: You know what I've actually been doing more recently?
Renee: Is sometimes I'm working on something and I'll just play meditation music.
Renee: What you were talking about, quieting the mind, that is the theme I keep getting over and over and over again.
Renee: It has honestly been increasing in the last month or so.
Renee: My mind is so active.
Renee: How do I focus that a little bit?
Renee: The choice to put on meditation music that has maybe these binaural beats, whether or not I have headphones on, that it's some sort of a frequency tuning in to more of a meditative state, and just really reducing how my mind is being stimulated, being a little bit more gentle with myself while I'm doing my day to day.
Renee: I'm just thinking out loud about what my answer would actually be here.
Christine: Yeah.
Renee: The word that is popping into my brain is patience, which I find really fascinating.
Christine: Go on that.
Christine: That's interesting.
Renee: It's the trust piece.
Renee: My spirit team is there that they'll just drop in info.
Renee: But I think it's also asking.
Renee: I think the missing piece here is the patience.
Renee: It's the trust that the information will come through because I know it has.
Renee: But then it's also the intention on my end to continue to reach out.
Renee: I will ask every single day.
Renee: I'll ask yes or no questions about XYZ, this, that or the other thing.
Renee: When should I schedule this appointment, this meeting for and get a date and go, okay, great.
Renee: I think also even just talking about it.
Renee: I teach classes.
Renee: Obviously, Christine and I talk in this podcast.
Renee: I talk with friends and family.
Renee: What I'm doing is I'm putting the energy out towards that.
Renee: I'm like, oh yeah, so I receive information through my intuition.
Renee: It comes through in these different ways.
Renee: I'm so much more openly discussing it as well.
Renee: It's either some intentional self-care practices.
Renee: There are many.
Renee: And then it also can just be trust in that experience and that it will come to you and not getting frustrated because then you're creating a block.
Renee: And then also just putting in the energy to reach out for signs, to look for those angel numbers.
Renee: Say aloud or write down or in meditation or not meditation in conversation that you want to receive, that you're open to receive.
Renee: There is no one size fits all for this question
Human Design Incarnation Cross
Renee: Next thing we wanted to talk about is actually in addendum to a listener question that we answered in season one about our Human Design episode, which was episode four, Life in HD, Human Design.
Renee: And we were asked a question about incarnation crosses.
Renee: How do you interpret it?
Renee: Christine had a little update that she wanted to share.
Christine: Yes.
Christine: As many of you know, I'm working on getting my Human Design certification, which is a lot of studying and classes and such.
Christine: And yesterday in one of our classes, we talked about the incarnation cross and it kind of clicked for me that the incarnation cross is similar to our north node in astrology.
Christine: It's something that you are in this life to be guided towards.
Christine: You don't start to embody your north node really until you're about .
Christine: So there's some time in your life before the north node even starts to come into your purview as something that you're focusing on.
Christine: And that's the same exact way I see the incarnation of the cross based on our class yesterday.
Christine: It's a destination point rather than...
Renee: The map to get there?
Christine: Yeah, rather than the tools you would use to get to that point.
Christine: It's not your sneakers, it's not your backpack, it's not your provisions, it's where you're headed.
Christine: But I just thought it was fascinating and in learning multiple modalities, I like being able to explain one thing via the other.
Renee: Now we'll need a second follow up on what the equivalent of the south note is.
Christine: Oh yeah, I'll let you know when I get there.
Renee: In our lives as curious and intuitive people, whether we're choosing to study them or not, like you can sit there and say, oh, this is what the numerology says for me as an individual for this year.
Renee: This is what my astrological forecast says for me this year.
Renee: This is what a psychic reading says for me this year.
Renee: This is what my human design says for tools that I can use, and I'll know what will apply this year.
Renee: And then there's even more.
Renee: I just think it's so fascinating and illuminating.
Renee: And hopefully by this point in our podcast, whether you have gone down the rabbit hole with any of the modalities that we've talked about, just your general exposure to them by listening to this podcast, maybe you're seeing some of those little connections as well.
Identifying Premonition Dreams
Renee: Final actual question, so our second question.
Renee: How do you know if a dream is a premonition?
Renee: My short answer to this would be, one, you may actually not know it's a premonition until the thing happens.
Renee: And two, you may just be flagged and aware.
Renee: That dream seemed really weird.
Renee: I was on a date with someone, so it means I'm going to be on a date with someone who looks just like that.
Renee: Maybe that is true, but also maybe it's not true.
Christine: I agree with all of that.
Christine: That's why I write them down so much, because I'm like, I'm not sure what this was.
Christine: I think there's a misconception to being intuitive or psychic that you kind of just have all the answers.
Christine: Because we don't.
Christine: We actually just speak another language and we're figuring out how to translate it on the fly just like everyone else.
Christine: I don't know if anybody's listened to Telepathy Tapes, who also listens to this podcast.
Christine: But they were talking about how people who are intuiting these messages from non-speaking individuals who have autism or people with Alzheimer's and dementia who are able to telepathically communicate with their loved ones.
Christine: The loved ones are receiving images and pictures.
Christine: I think it's important to know that's also how Renee and I receive a lot of our messages.
Christine: I think that goes for Dreams as well.
Christine: You're receiving pictures and images and you are trying to figure out how to translate that into a message.
Renee: Unless you receive a full sentence, which sometimes I do have happen.
Christine: That's true.
Christine: I don't know if you've had this.
Christine: I've received sentences before and I've still been like, but what does that mean?
Renee: Yes.
Renee: I did this earlier.
Renee: We were sitting here talking and I was answering a question.
Renee: And I just had patience dropped into my head.
Renee: And so I just said it and I was like, okay, so I don't really know exactly why I'm saying this as an answer.
Renee: So I'm going to think about it.
Renee: And that's where I'm just using my regular mind.
Renee: I wasn't intuiting, but I received information that was helping me to answer this question because I wasn't really sure how to answer the question fully.
Renee: So it's like I got like a little help.
Renee: But sometimes you receive the words in a specific way because that language actually does land for that person.
Renee: Those specific words came in because it will resonate.
Renee: So even if as the channel, it doesn't make sense to you, they can know exactly what you're talking about.
Renee: And now let's get to the live reading from our listener.
Listener Reading
Renee: So I was seeing just a snowman, and it looks really small, and it's actually set up kind of far away.
Renee: Interestingly enough, it's shivering, so it feels like there's a little bit of a adjustment to the energy of change.
Renee: I'm seeing people coming over and interacting with the snowman.
Renee: New circle, new context, and it's like, you know, in the song was like the corn cob pipe.
Renee: The snowman is like being handed, like the little pipe being given accessories and like add-ons that feel like a value add.
Christine: My whole reading screen became like a navy blue or like a cobalt blue, and it was like the material of sheets.
Christine: And then I also saw a tribal tattoo, and I don't know if that resonates for you.
Christine: I had Spirit clear that out and give me another image.
Christine: They were specifically showing me new blooms, and they were like these little white flowers, and it wasn't baby's breath, but it was like tiny white flowers with like four petals to a flower, if that makes sense.
Listener: I don't want to give too much info, but yeah, I do, yeah, it resonate with that.
Christine: Do you have a tattoo?
Christine: I like don't understand why the tribal tattoo came up.
Christine: No, right?
Listener: No, no.
Listener: I haven't thought about one either, so, or like had any ideas of, or like dreams of getting one.
Christine: Interesting.
Christine: Okay.
Christine: I mean, I cleared it anyway.
Christine: Just curious.
Listener: Yeah.
Listener: Unless it's like family related, or like, I don't know if that makes sense, but.
Renee: Okay.
Renee: So we can take a moment and we'll look back.
Renee: So we'll just report back what we get.
Renee: That's additional information.
Renee: I'm getting put back into the scene where the snowman is receiving the little corncob pipe and it lights on fire.
Renee: It's kind of disintegrating.
Renee: And I'm watching the characters in the scene and they are kind of unfazed.
Renee: You can try things out and say, do I want to use this?
Renee: Do I like that thing?
Renee: It does seem like it's actually object related or item related, or like values, assets related.
Renee: And then deciding, you know what?
Renee: I've tried that out.
Renee: I actually don't think it's for me.
Renee: I don't want that.
Renee: Like metaphorically burn that.
Renee: Like I can get rid of it.
Renee: I am using cards from the Moon Deck to supplement today's reading.
Renee: I'm just going to flip over the card because, oh, they're upside down.
Renee: Wow.
Renee: OK, so this is so interesting.
Renee: The card that I got is the Worth card.
Renee: I free myself from critical thoughts towards my body and my worth.
Renee: This is like an empowerment card.
Renee: And the only way that you can determine whether something is for you or not for you is to understand your values and what is in alignment.
Renee: Specifically, the wording on this card, how it's talking about my body, it feels like that's not particularly relevant.
Renee: How much you have in your bank account, what items you have on your person, in your closet, your car, things that you own, and what's your relationship with them.
Listener: I'm going through the process of going through a lot of objects and things, right now, with burning them or keeping them in a way.
Listener: A relation in that sense to going through it and figuring out, okay, this is me, or this is the old me.
Listener: I'll get rid of it kind of thing.
Christine: I went back into the image of the white petals popping up, and everything is green and white.
Christine: So we're on this hill and there's a path going down, and it's all lined with these little white flowers, and we come up to, I think it's called a pergola, that thing that's shaped like an arch, and there's flowers all over it.
Christine: English is my first language.
Christine: And that's also decorated in greenery and all of these white flowers, and you're walking down the path, and you come to the top of this hill, and I'm getting very two of wands energy, where you have the world in your hands, and I keep hearing you're starting the next great adventure.
Christine: You're just like happy.
Christine: You're very comfortable with where you are.
Christine: The world is your oyster, and you're obviously going to take the next step.
Christine: You're so committed and excited about going forward and having this world in your hands.
Listener: Oh, I am.
Renee: Yeah.
Christine: Okay, good.
Listener: No, it definitely applies to where I'm at right now.
Listener: And I feel like just the next upcoming year as well or in and beyond kind of where I'm at in my life, building towards that kind of future.
Listener: And that's exciting.
Renee: Do you have any specific questions?
Listener: I guess the first one I could do is what important lessons can I learn from my current relationship?
Christine: And this is a romantic relationship, right?
Listener: That's correct.
Renee: The thing that is immediately flying right into my brain is boundaries.
Renee: Time, space, money, things like that.
Renee: And setting certain parameters around the exchange.
Renee: So like what's exchanged and what's shared.
Renee: What I'm seeing is like a figure kind of like tiptoeing across a line and then tipping back and just like walking forward, walking back.
Renee: There's always an ebb and flow because your boundaries are going to change, your partner's boundaries are going to change.
Renee: It's important to continuously check in what the edges are of comfort, security, safety.
Renee: But it feels like it's heavily in the areas of time, money, and physical space, like how often you're engaging or like with each other.
Christine: It's so funny that that's what you said, because I kind of got something similar from a different angle.
Christine: So I immediately heard communication, and I feel like spirits like very excited and like buzzy.
Christine: What I'm hearing is like speak up and make sure to listen to their side.
Christine: It's us against the problem, not us against each other.
Christine: When your partner comes to you and has something to say that may feel triggering or rile you up, it kind of feels like take a beat.
Christine: And then maybe the next day once you've collected your thoughts and figured out how to articulate things, and it doesn't feel so triggering.
Christine: And it's similar to what Renee was saying.
Christine: Does this work for you?
Christine: This works for me.
Christine: This doesn't work.
Christine: But if it feels like specifically in this relationship, like communication is really what you're here to figure out together.
Christine: And that's beautiful.
Christine: And it's not just on you, it's on your partner as well.
Listener: Since the beginning of me and my partner's relationship, we made sure that communication was like the number one.
Listener: I am someone who would rather talk about it right away, rather than sleeping on it.
Listener: We don't fight often, so I feel like that shows at least us two not obviously wanting to be compative with each other.
Listener: And we've grown with our communication, and that's definitely been an important factor for us.
Christine: We're always living our design, and then you come into a reading like this, and it's like, oh yeah, that is what we're meant to do.
Christine: We are here to work on our communication.
Christine: We've been doing that since the beginning.
Christine: We know why we came together, and Spirit's just confirming it for you.
Listener: Another one, I guess, is what are the key challenges I need to address in my career right now?
Christine: Why does this feel like communication also?
Christine: Because I'm seeing you like in a boardroom, and you're talking, and like, you look great, you sound great, all of your points are immaculate, like nobody could argue with them, but everybody else at the table, like it's kind of like their heads are down, or they're not paying attention, and it's nothing wrong with the way you're delivering what you're saying, but it's the fact that these people just are not, like they're in their own heads.
Renee: For me, the first thing that I got was the word fixation, but I was immediately getting it paired with this visual of sorting information into different files.
Renee: The file folders can only hold so much.
Renee: Eventually, the folder isn't really gonna be functional, or the information in there isn't really gonna be useful because it's gonna be outdated, which either sets you behind because you're not learning the newest thing or something like that.
Renee: It feels like there's something about, kind of similar to the initial Snowman image of getting rid of outdated ideas and programs or processes and then getting new folders in.
Renee: As in, you're applying your skill set in totally different ways that are not these same buckets.
Renee: This is the Cycles card.
Renee: My emotions move through cycles and connect me to my truth.
Renee: And what I think is interesting about this is the visual I was getting was about cycling out the folders.
Renee: Some of the sentiment in general with this card is it's about this idea of impermanence.
Renee: It could apply to your emotions for the career stuff.
Renee: If emotions are cropping up, it's just around fear or uncertainty.
Renee: It's okay to let some things go because then the new moon is gonna come back and you're gonna have a new beginning.
Renee: Continuing the same process out of some fear around stuff not being secure or not being permanent, the encouragement is like, yeah, things are not permanent and that's not necessarily a bad thing.
Listener: I feel like with my job in my career, it is kind of on a loop of doing the similar things each day or getting into those same routines that can probably be replaced with new other methods, or just to expand my growth with everything.
Listener: But then, towards to Christine, what she was saying was that everyone's in their own heads in a way of focused on their own work or own things, that it is just caring about themselves, so that I would need to communicate what I would need to do to help.
Listener: Growing at the rate that I want to, because it's definitely hard at the point that I'm at.
Christine: You're capable of being levels above where you are right now.
Christine: You're smart.
Christine: The big challenges here are learning how to be confident in your own abilities, and this is something that you'll continue to expand on.
Christine: The second thing is how to get them to better wake up and hear you.
Christine: You just listen to them for five minutes, and all of a sudden the light turns on back in their heart.
Christine: It's golden, and they can hear you better because somebody has heard them.
Christine: Sometimes, we forget that we're just humans at work.
Listener: Yeah, I agree.
Listener: In the past, I've done that, and it just doesn't feel as like I've done as much in a way.
Listener: Being more interactive with my coworkers makes me feel more involved with work I'm doing.
Listener: So, is there a free-for-all, not a free-for-all, but a great go-to thing that both of you have to wrap a session up or something like that, like a reading, or is it?
Renee: We can give you a mantra, we can give you an inspired action.
Renee: I am in the middle of talking and I am getting something about self-care.
Renee: The classic self-care that people think about of a face mask or something, or like getting a massage, having fun, but it seems like also tucking in there that sometimes having fun can be doing nothing, quote unquote.
Renee: But it's doing a little bit of reframing on how you're choosing to care for yourself.
Renee: Doing a hand made, and maybe it's something that you and your fiance do together, but it's like, it's some sort of a cucumber mask.
Renee: As in like the, it's a homemade mask, and it's like mashing up cucumbers and like mixing it with something else.
Renee: So it's something that's really cooling.
Renee: It probably would be wonderful in the summer.
Renee: It could just be you.
Renee: It could be the two of you together, but like some sort of like a cute little treat yourself moment that you don't have to do it every week.
Renee: But it feels like if you, if you can't squeak something in once a month, like do it at least once every quarter, a few times a year where you're just doing something that's like a little bit different and maybe not something that you might normally do for self-care.
Listener: Yeah, I think we both need it.
Christine: So.
Christine: As you were talking, I saw like you and your fiancee laying in bed with like a big bowl of popcorn and like putting on like whatever comfort movie you guys want to put on.
Christine: After a long day of work, having this space to like come home and let go, like at nine o'clock, you guys are like, that's it.
Christine: We're brushing our teeth.
Christine: We're putting on our masks.
Christine: We're getting in bed.
Christine: We're putting on our fuzzy socks and we're watching a trashy TV show with snacks.
Christine: I feel like she's such a comforting presence and she's such a trusted space that like that self-care.
Christine: This is also like an action.
Christine: You two are bonding.
Christine: You get to work on your communication, but you also both just get to relax and have fun with each other, which is the most important part.
Christine: Yeah, it's coming back to having fun, but also finding a way to unwind.
Christine: Yeah, just let go and enjoy it and put on Love is Blind.
Listener: Well, we watched it, like the first, what, two episodes?
Listener: Kind of like we actually just went through the bathroom yesterday, like last night, organizing everything, merging my stuff and her stuff.
Listener: But a lot of the things that we found we had were masks as well.
Listener: So it's not like a homemade kind of mask, just go in the store again, cucumbers and put them on your eyes and just lounging.
Listener: But now that we got a new couch that reclines, you know, like you can put it back, put the face mask on and just put on LOST or something like that.
Renee: Well, Christine and I are both fans of LOST.
Renee: So we, 10 out of 10, agree, watch Lost with the face mask on.
Christine: Oh my god, yeah.
Christine: And snacks, don't forget snacks.
Listener: I feel like when it comes to the podcast, it's definitely helped open my mind with, like it's new to me, but I know that it's, like people are intuitive and everyone is really intuitive.
Listener: There'd be times that I would look at the clock at the same time every day.
Listener: It's 4:13, which is my birthday.
Listener: Both of you have your expertise and it's like refreshing kind of thing to listen to.
Listener: Not as like...
Christine: Woo.
Listener: Yeah, yeah.
Listener: But no, I will listen to it in my car and it's wonderful.
Christine: Well, thank you for that.
Listener: Oh, you're welcome.
Christine: Thanks for listening.
Christine: If you'd like to learn more, the resources we used to prepare for this episode are listed in the show notes.
Renee: If you're curious to develop your intuition, we've partnered with the Nuurvana Be Light program to give our listeners a $500 discount on tuition fees.
Renee: Email us for more details and we'll connect you with the founder, Deganit Nuur.
Christine: Want to connect with us?
Christine: You can reach me, Christine, @ChanneledbyChristine with one L on Instagram.

Renee: We'll see you when the stars next align.
Outro
Renee: Do you have Virgo anywhere in your big three?
Listener: Yeah, I do, actually.
Renee: Do you remember where?
Listener: The star sign.
Listener: I don't know.
Renee: It's the rising sign.
Listener: Yeah.
Listener: Sorry.
Listener: I don't know the terms that well.
Renee: It is the bonus one that the least people know about.
Christine: The three most awkward people are trying to play it cool right now.
![Synergy to Synastry listener episode testimonial for a psychic reading: I’m recently engaged… Christine saw the color scheme, baby’s breath and white flowers my fiancée and I are talking about for our wedding ceremony. It made me feel even more excited! Each [of Renee’s Oracle cards] perfectly applied to what we were discussing, which I thought was so cool! I absolutely loved her enthusiasm explaining their true meaning, and each one reassured me about taking more action in my life, which opens up doors to being at peace and striving to grow.
