Renee: We've received several requests for live readings on the podcast.
Renee: If that's something that's of interest to you, or maybe you don't want to join us live, but you would like to submit a question for us to answer, please send us an email, and maybe we'll include it in a future episode.
Renee: Also, if you'd like to book a reading with either or both of us, our calendly links are in the show notes.
Human Design Overview & History
Renee: Here comes the human design, that is.
Renee: Today we're gonna be talking about human design.
Renee: We're gonna be covering, what is human design?
Renee: Where did it come from?
Renee: What does it even mean?
Renee: Some of the basic types, the core principles to understand human design.
Renee: We're gonna go over some details in our specific human design charts, as well as zero in on psychic placements, because of course we were curious to learn about that a little bit more.
Renee: Christine is gonna be leading the discussion today on human design, so I'll turn it over to you for the most basic question.
Renee: What is human design?
Christine: That is a great question, Renee.
Christine: Human design is not an old, old wooden ship used during the Civil War era.
Christine: It's actually a user manual for how to live your life in alignment with who you are.
Christine: It's a synthesis of ancient and modern sciences that's proven to be a valuable tool for human understanding.
Christine: Ancient sciences in the sense that you'll see a lot of astrology mixed into this, you need to know your exact birthdate and time.
Christine: Modern sciences in the sense that it almost feels like a personality test.
Christine: The thing to remember is that human design is not built on a belief or faith.
Christine: There's no spiritual component to it per se, besides the fact that somebody had downloaded it.
Christine: It's more of an empirical system that gives us the opportunity to experiment with it and find out if it works for us.
Renee: That sounds awesome.
Renee: So you mentioned that human design is a newer system.
Renee: When exactly was it created and who's the founder, if you will?
Christine: The creator of human design, his name that he was born with is Alan Robert Crackauer.
Christine: He eventually took on the name Ra Uruhu while living in Ibiza as a teacher in January of .
Christine: So that's only 36 years ago.
Christine: He had a mystical experience followed by an encounter with what he called a voice.
Christine: And he ended up spending, I think it was like eight days or nights downloading all the messages he got from this voice.
Christine: So in 1989, after his encounter with the voice, he wrote the rave I Ching, or I Ching, which translates to the Book of Changes.
Christine: And that's the foundation through which human design is based on.
Renee: So how exactly does somebody use human design and apply it to their life?
Christine: I think the best way that we can use it is to understand ourselves, how we operate, and human design can also be used to help us make more aligned decisions.
Christine: So for example, the more you learn about human design, the more you understand when a decision feels right to you and when a decision doesn't feel right to you.
Renee: When you're saying, steal into a decision, that very much strikes me as how psychics and intuitives view their intuition.
Renee: Are you saying that for human design, it is outlining where you feel it, how you feel it, and when you feel it?
Christine: The decision-making tools that I found and learned through human design are very similar to how you and I get neutral before we read or feel into a decision.
Christine: Even though we're saying, does it feel like X, you know what it feels like to be satisfied.
Christine: It's not some mystical, magical feeling.
Christine: So you can use that as a very easy compass as to whether or not you're moving in a direction that's aligned with who you are.
Renee: Now that we've heard a little bit about the origin of human design, Christine, can you go over the fundamentals?
Christine: So I'll walk us through the five different human design types in this episode.
Christine: For our profiles, I'm gonna get into a little more detail.
Christine: Everything I know about human design, I learned from Erin Claire Jones' course.
Christine: I loved it so much.
Christine: And I still go back and listen to different parts over and over.
Christine: She has a link to get your free chart so you can take a look and see what your type is.
Christine: And she also provides a little more context so you can look into other parts of your human design chart that I'm not gonna get into here.
Generators & Manifesting Generators
Christine: So like I said, there are five different types.
Christine: We're gonna start off with the generators and the manifesting generators.
Christine: We're gonna lump them together because they're a little similar and they're a little bit different.
Christine: Generators and manifesting generators make up about 68% of the population.
Christine: So they're a majority of the population.
Christine: Some famous generators are Oprah, Beyonce, Lady Gaga, Albert Einstein.
Christine: So if you are a generator, you are in great company.
Christine: Generators are the natural doers of our society and creative powerhouses.
Christine: Their gift in this life is being able to bring ideas and inspiration to life.
Christine: What I love about generators and manifesting generators is that they have the ability to go, go, go when they are lit up by the work they do, when they're enjoying what they do.
Christine: They also have the ability to lift others up and energize them through their excited energy.
Christine: I'm thinking about one friend I have who I feel like she sleeps minutes a night, but she is so excited about the work that she's doing in her career with her family, with her friends, that she has the energy to keep going really.
Christine: So that's something that I think generators should keep in mind.
Christine: Next up, we're talking about manifesting generators, which is what Renee is.
Christine: So Renee, keep those ears perked up.
Christine: Some famous manifesting generators are Rihanna, Lizzo, Brene Brown, Martin Luther King Jr., Mother Teresa.
Christine: So like generators, they're also creative powerhouses and doers, but the difference is that they are multi-passionate.
Christine: They tend to cook up a lot of things.
Christine: Their gift in this life is being able to bring ideas to life quickly and efficiently, which working with Renee, I can 100% attest to.
Christine: They quickly catch on to where an idea is going and then find the best and fastest way to make that happen.
Christine: And it's helpful for them to have somebody to kind of take care of the step-by-step process so they can lean into their flow and do what they do best.
Christine: The lesson for generators in this life is to do work that you're excited about because that's what's gonna bring you more energy.
Christine: It's gonna allow you to attract more opportunities and like-minded people.
Christine: Generators are meant to do work that feels like a yes in their gut.
Christine: They're here to learn that cultivating strong boundaries and saying yes to doing only what feels like a strong yes is what they're meant to do rather than people pleasing.
Christine: Think about a time when you used your energy in a way where you felt satisfied.
Christine: That's typically a sign that you are using your energy in a way that's aligned with your human design.
Christine: And then if you think back to a time where you used your energy in a way that left you feeling frustrated, likely something was off.
Renee: Learning to say no, that really made me laugh because I've talked with lots of mentors in my career about that and setting up boundaries because I want to produce, I want to generate, I wanna make things happen, but sometimes you have to dial it back because you're actually depleting yourself and that's not good for anybody.
Projectors
Renee: And you're a projector, right?
Christine: Yes, I am a projector.
Christine: I am proud to be a projector.
Christine: We make up 22% of the population.
Christine: Some famous projectors are Princess Di, Nelson Mandela, Barack Obama, JFK, Picasso.
Christine: So I'm very excited to be in that camp.
Christine: I feel like we're being sorted into our Hogwarts houses right now.
Christine: The rest of the types are not doers in the way that generators and manifesting generators are.
Christine: And because most of the world is made up of generators and manifesting generators, our system as a society really works well for them and can sometimes feel like a little much for the rest of us.
Christine: And I can certainly attest to that.
Christine: Projectors are natural guides, leaders, learners.
Christine: We love to study new things.
Christine: We're innately sensitive to the people around us and we can really see who a person is.
Christine: Our gift is helping others identify their gifts in this world.
Christine: So if you're a projector and sometimes you meet someone and the vibes are just off, it could just be that their energy is not ready to meet your energy.
Renee: I just have a quick question based on what you just said.
Renee: I don't know if I'm remembering incorrectly.
Renee: As you said, you'll go over what reflectors are.
Renee: So it's not a one-to-one, but it's taking something, making it full screen.
Christine: Yeah, I feel like we're almost like, hey, I don't think you knew this about yourself, but you're pretty fucking awesome.
Christine: And then the person hears it and they're like, oh, I'm really awesome.
Christine: And then they feel like they can go out and do what they are awesome at because they were seen.
Christine: Our energy naturally ebbs and flows.
Christine: And as projectors, we need to honor that.
Christine: And remember that rest and play are productive for us.
Christine: When we're in flow, we can do more in four hours than most people do in a day.
Christine: But when we eb, we need to stop and rest.
Christine: Our gifts are in our perspective and not in our capacity to produce something.
Christine: I also live by the mantra that time is on my side.
Christine: So if something feels rushed, it's not for me.
Christine: It's not an alignment.
Christine: And that's an easy way for me to say yes, no.
Christine: But for projectors in general, think of a time where you used your energy in a way that felt successful.
Christine: That's a sign that you're in alignment with your human design.
Christine: And then think about a time when you used your energy and you felt bitter.
Christine: I almost like to use the word resentment in this case.
Christine: And I would notice that a lot when I was working in corporate culture.
Christine: Oh, I'm done at this current job that I'm at because I'm feeling that bitterness.
Manifestors
Renee: Great, and then what about manifestors?
Christine: Manifestors.
Christine: So manifestors make up 9% of the population.
Christine: So some famous manifestors are Maya Angelou, Gloria Steinem, Adele, Frida Kahlo.
Christine: They're here to initiate new ideas, innovate, provoke, bring in a way of doing things differently.
Christine: And they perform at their best when they feel free at work or in relationships.
Christine: So they're not here to be told what to do.
Christine: They're not here to be guided.
Christine: They create their best work when they're encouraged to create in their own way.
Christine: And manifestors also have bursts of energy where they get work done.
Christine: So they could have a burst of energy for a couple of hours or a couple of weeks.
Christine: They're great at initiating things, but should feel comfortable leaning on support to delegate once their project has started.
Christine: So once they start something, feel free to lean on your support systems to delegate to a team.
Christine: This is gonna free up your energy to move on to your next great idea.
Christine: And the biggest lesson for manifestors is that you are not for everyone.
Christine: Accepting this allows the right people to move into your circle and those who aren't meant for you to fall away.
Christine: For manifestors, I want you to think of a time where you used your energy in a way and you felt peace.
Christine: That's a sign that you're living in alignment with your human design.
Christine: And if you think of a time where you used your energy in a way that left you feeling angry, that's a sign that you're using your energy in a way that's not in alignment.
Renee: You mentioned at the top when you were talking about the generators and the manifesting generators that those are grouped together.
Renee: But why is it that manifestors, even though there's overlap with manifesting generator, are not combined?
Christine: Don't let the name fool you.
Christine: Manifester and manifesting generator are, just because they have that manifest word doesn't mean they're the same.
Christine: The two types with generator in the name are doers.
Christine: Manifesters aren't doers.
Christine: They're here to create, manifest, and move on with their life.
Reflectors
Renee: Last one, reflectors.
Renee: We mentioned them a little bit earlier in our discussion.
Renee: What's a reflector?
Christine: Yeah, so reflectors are only 1% of the population.
Christine: They are the most rare type.
Christine: So if you are a reflector, I highly encourage you to do more research on it and see if you can find other reflectors out there.
Christine: For famous reflectors, the only one that I could find was Sandra Bullock.
Christine: So if you know of any others, please reach out to us.
Christine: Reflectors are here to transform their world or the world around them.
Christine: They tend to have these incredible insights and are here to be our advisors and facilitators.
Christine: They have a very sharp sense of what's not working in the groups that they're in, in the world that they're in, in the community around them.
Christine: And they tend to have a lot of ideas on how things can be improved.
Christine: They are also very sensitive to other people's energy and the energy of those around them, which helps them pick up on most things others miss.
Christine: They tend to pick up on like the little things.
Christine: When you look at a reflector human design chart, all of their centers are empty.
Christine: For the listeners who don't know what a human design chart looks like, you basically see a person, and then there are all these shapes, and those shapes are known as centers.
Christine: And when they're not colored in, that means they're empty.
Christine: They can be, I want to say imprinted on, and it almost sounds like I want to use a Twilight quote there, but I'm not doing it.
Christine: They can more easily, because there's nothing colored in there, there's nothing, no idea set in there, they're more open to other ideas coming in, which is what makes them such good advisors and facilitators.
Christine: Their biggest lesson is to not take on other people's energy.
Christine: It's because they're so susceptible to doing so.
Christine: For reflectors, I want you to think of a time when you used your energy in a way where you felt surprised, and not surprised in a shock way, surprised in like, oh, thank you so much, you just got me my favorite cake, I wasn't expecting that.
Christine: That's generally a sign that you are in alignment with your human design.
Christine: And if you think back to a time where you used your energy and you felt disappointed, that's usually a sign that you're out of alignment.
Renee: What I think is really interesting about the reflectors, and I know we're gonna be discussing the psychic aspects later.
Renee: But one would think in hearing that description that these people are potentially highly intuitive because all they're doing is tapping in to the energetics in their environment and the people around them.
Renee: Maintaining neutrality, clearing energy, disconnecting from people is a challenge.
Renee: So if you're somebody where this is ingrained, what if these people actually aren't drawn to be psychics because it's so overwhelming to have all of that intel and to process it?
Renee: Or maybe they just have to channel it in a very specific way.
Christine: So in class, we've talked to people who have, the open head center or all open centers where they feel like thoughts sort of just pop into their head.
Christine: So I imagine having all of your centers open, feelings come in and other people's energy that makes it easier to read someone else's energy.
Profiles & Authorities
Renee: I wanna hear the tea on both of our human design charts.
Renee: So let's go.
Christine: Okay, here I go.
Christine: Here I spill.
Christine: You're also gonna hear in the human design community, people are going to identify themselves via their profile, authority, and type.
Christine: So for me, I would tell people I'm a five-one emotional projector.
Christine: Renee would tell people she's a three-five sacral manifesting generator.
Christine: I really encourage you to go look at your profile.
Christine: Even if you just know this one line, I think it's gonna open up space for so many conversations.
Christine: The first thing I'm gonna talk about with mine and Renee's profiles is our authority.
Christine: And our authority is how we make decisions.
Christine: I'm an emotional authority.
Christine: And a little bit more than half of the population has an emotional authority.
Christine: And we actually need to take our time feeling into decisions and remembering that time is our friend.
Christine: We may get an initial gut reaction in the moment, but it's best for us to sort of sleep on that and see if that reaction changes over time.
Christine: So you can't do that with every decision you're gonna make, but for big decisions, definitely do that.
Christine: For small ones, like should I get the pizza or the salad?
Christine: It's pretty safe to go with what feels good in the moment.
Christine: For you, Renee, as a sacral, that's 33% of the population, and you guys are meant to make decisions in the moment.
Christine: If it feels like a full-bodied yes, go for it.
Christine: Anything less than that is a no or a no for now.
Christine: And I always think of Oprah, who is a generator, remember, and I can attest from working with you that you are very quick in making decisions where I need a couple of days.
Christine: So I'm curious, judging by your laugh, I'm curious if you feel that that resonates with you.
Renee: Yeah, what's interesting is, of course, there's situations where I feel I need to sleep on something.
Renee: I have all this information that comes in.
Renee: I am stewing in my brain, just processing things, and I need to just let it do that, do something else, physically go to sleep and disconnect it a little bit.
Renee: And then I can come back and I can have that quick knowing.
Renee: But I also have other situations where, yeah, maybe somebody asked me a question.
Renee: I forget the example you use.
Renee: You want a pizza or a salad or whatever it is.
Renee: Sometimes I can just say, oh, I want this, or I know I should do that.
Renee: But you can also have that gut feeling, which is what steak roll is representing.
Renee: It's a gut feeling.
Renee: You know it's not clouded by judgment, clouded by anything that's floating around in your head.
Renee: This doesn't feel right, or this does feel right.
Renee: I feel open, I feel a sense of expansion, like in my body, not in my head, in my core.
Christine: I'm so glad you expanded on that, because I feel like it helps for other people who have the same authority or the same type to hear how it feels for someone else, because it helps them identify it in their own bodies.
Christine: And I'm curious, Renee, in the situations where you get a lot of energy and you feel like you have to sleep on it, is that similar to you getting all of your information, and it's not a full-bodied yes?
Renee: I think so.
Renee: I, it's hard, because I don't have an exact example.
Renee: So I'd be curious if, to be in that situation again, to try to be more cognizant of when it's happening.
Renee: It's more that I've learned that about myself.
Renee: I know what that sensation feels like for anybody that does coding or uses computer programs that takes forever for something to upload or download.
Renee: It's like that.
Renee: It's like my body is running a program in the background and I have to do other things.
Renee: And then once it's like, okay, it's done, then I look at it and then I can make the quick judgment.
Christine: Interesting.
Christine: And one more fact that I've learned is, or I've noticed, especially with generators, so I wonder if this is for manifesting generators too, but they tend to like yes, no questions, or they can't make their decision until they hear what that exact idea is.
Christine: And I wonder if that's also part of your process.
Renee: Why I'm laughing is that I have been in many situations where somebody asked me a yes, no question, and I respond with a question.
Christine: Oh, wow.
Christine: That's a very projector thing.
Renee: Yeah, like I'm like, well, do you mean like this or like that?
Renee: Because that's gonna inform whether I answer yes or no.
Renee: I wanna make sure I can answer it quote unquote accurately, even if it's just an opinion question.
Renee: I don't do it all the time, but I know I've done that because then I'll get pushed back up, just say yes or no.
Renee: I'm like, but I need to know this so then I can answer.
Christine: No, it's very interesting.
Christine: I love it.
Christine: The next part of our profiles I wanted to touch on were our profiles.
Christine: You'll see this as numbers.
Christine: I have a five one profile and Renee has a three five.
Christine: The first number is what you're conscious of.
Christine: The second number is what you're unconscious of.
Christine: I am a five one, which covers 14% of the population.
Christine: And when we say yes to the right opportunities and feel grounded in what we know, we have the potential to impact the lives of many.
Christine: And for Renee as a three five, they may find that their journey is interesting to the people around them and that people wanna know what they're learning as they learn it.
Christine: I highlighted these two specific points because I think it's very interesting that you and I are again, doing this podcast.
Christine: The goal was to talk about things that we're learning and things that interest us.
Christine: This podcast is gonna go out to so many people and gives me the ability to impact so many lives and gives you the ability to teach so many things, especially the things that you're learning.
Christine: So tell me what you think about that.
Renee: What I think about that is you were reading it and my jaw dropped.
Renee: Even just yours, they say yes to the right opportunities.
Renee: I'm the one who brought the question to you and you said yes.
Renee: So even there, Justin talking about the podcast and what I had said in our first conversation, not knowing this had any connection to this . profile, that I was feeling called and I was getting instructed to, advised to share lessons with other people.
Christine: I told you I was excited for this episode.
Renee: And I like the fact that both of ours, which I'm guessing is what the five component represents, both of them are relating to impacting other people.
Renee: There's something about distribution.
Christine: Yep, you hit the nail on the head.
Christine: For the five line, I have that as a conscious part of my profile, so I know that I'm good at this.
Christine: You have it as an unconscious part, so people see it in you.
Christine: We tend to be natural leaders, and we're here to impact a large number of people with our ideas and solutions.
Christine: We see things differently, so in sharing that, we can help others also see things differently and maybe find something that they needed but they didn't know existed before.
Renee: Well, very, very early on in my career, it was within my first six months.
Renee: My manager at the time had sat me down and asked me the question, where do you see yourself in a few years?
Renee: And I didn't even know why I said it, but I said, I want to be a manager like you.
Renee: And I walked out of the room and I was like, why did I say that?
Renee: But then I knew it was true.
Renee: You know, that got tucked away.
Renee: I didn't do much for the next few years.
Renee: I was working, just doing my day to day.
Renee: And then I had people telling me that.
Renee: I was a good presenter.
Renee: I was like, what are you talking about?
Renee: I'm up there sweating.
Renee: I'm so stressed out.
Renee: I feel like I don't know what I'm saying.
Renee: And they said, oh, you're a natural.
Renee: What I was presenting, what I was drawn to, all aligned with being a leader.
Renee: I then set my sights towards doing that.
Christine: I thought of that story when I was writing this, which also made me like so excited to present all this information to you.
Christine: Sometimes we see things in other people and we're like, how come they don't see this within themselves?
Christine: And maybe that's not part of their design.
Christine: Maybe somebody needs to wake it up within them, like somebody had done for you.
Definitions
Christine: And then the last thing that I want to touch on that we have the same and is very relevant to today is our definition.
Christine: Our definition is how we best process information and work with others.
Christine: And you and I both have a collaborative definition.
Christine: So that covers 46% of the population, so almost half of us out there.
Christine: We tend to be more open to connections with others.
Christine: And for us, life is all about connecting with the right people.
Christine: When we're feeling stuck and we are indecisive at work or whatever the decision may be, being around others helps us get unstuck.
Christine: That could be having a conversation with someone.
Christine: That could even be just going to a coffee shop and working from there.
Christine: Last night, I texted Renee, and I was like, I'm not going to be able to record tomorrow.
Christine: I can't get my thoughts out.
Christine: I think we're doomed.
Christine: Doomed!
Christine: So dramatic.
Christine: We are doomed.
Christine: The podcast is over because I couldn't get my thoughts out.
Christine: And then Renee leaves a message for me on our shared Google Doc that's like, hey, you know, I think you're putting too much information in here.
Christine: You know, this is what I would suggest.
Christine: And that was the perfect example of what a collaborative definition is, because as soon as she said that, it unlocked something within me.
Christine: And I kid you not, in two hours, I had this whole episode written.
Renee: I started doing this log related to the recent and technically ongoing North Node-Kyron Conjunction, and logging any situations related to that area of my chart, which happens to be career, public roles.
Renee: And whenever I feel a sense of discomfort, what's the discomfort I feel?
Renee: Naming the discomfort, looking at or writing an affirmation for myself to counter it, and then looking to say, well, how did I resolve it?
Renee: So far I have three entries in the log, and you know what I did every single time?
Renee: I had a conversation with somebody.
Christine: Shut up.
Renee: I'm not kidding you.
Renee: Every single time it was, oh, well, I talked to this person about it and I felt better.
Renee: And it just completely sorted it, and it resolved the feeling of discomfort.
Christine: That's amazing.
Christine: And this is what I mean about human design.
Christine: I mean, even listening to the way it came about, right?
Christine: Some guy got these downloads, and now this is supposed to be a system that we should be using to run our life.
Christine: But if you think of it like an experiment, which is how I've thought about it to kind of put my skeptical mind at ease, you're just noticing these little synchronicities with what is human design, and it's like, okay, maybe there is something to it.
Renee: I think it's particularly interesting, and we've talked about this with astrology and other aspects too, but the fact that we have these complimentary elements where it's, you get a five, you get a five, you get a five, but we both were getting it intentionally in opposite sides.
Renee: What would have been more hilarious is if I was a one five or you were a five three.
Renee: If it was exact, that would have been insane, but it's creating a commonality, it's creating a common thread.
Christine: I wanted to overlay our charts to see what gates we had because sometimes you might have the top and I might have the bottom, and when those come together, we have the full channel.
Renee: Next up, we're going to be talking about what everybody's been waiting for.
Intuition & Human Design
Renee: Where in your human design does it suggest that you might be psychic?
Renee: Christine, take it away.
Christine: So this actually came up back in January.
Christine: I went down a rabbit hole after chatting with Renee probably about this podcast.
Christine: Before I dive into this, another part of human design are things called gates and channels.
Christine: And again, when you look at a human design chart, there are these little lines that connect the shapes that you'll see overlaid on your human design chart.
Christine: Those lines can be filled in halfway, which makes it a gate, or fully, which makes it a channel.
Renee: For context, each of the gates are numbered, and then you have a channel and that's the pairing of numbers and the sequence of numbers.
Renee: So if there's anybody listening who's following along, and you want to see if these places are highlighted in yours, you would just look for where it says number and go to that.
Christine: So we both have clairvoyance that you can see in our human design chart.
Christine: So for Renee, you can see that she has gate 61, gate 63, which are also the gates for intuitive dreaming, and she has channel 58/18.
Christine: I also have channel 58/18, so gate 64 is another gate for intuitive dreaming.
Christine: I don't have gate 64.
Christine: I have the whole channel, which is 64/47.
Christine: I wonder if that is also a signal for intuitive dreaming as well.
Christine: The next one, only Renee has this, and I cannot wait to present it to her.
Christine: With gate 44, she has clairolfactance.
Christine: This is the ability to smell things.
Christine: What?
Christine: Yes, yes, so I'm curious, have you?
Christine: Have you ever smelled anything doing one of your readings?
Renee: I would think I would be aware if I just randomly started smelling something.
Renee: So apparently I have some untapped potential here.
Christine: Yeah, I'm so curious now, like if this is going to come up in your readings or if you're going to notice it more or even try it.
Christine: So you have to let us know.
Christine: The people want to know, can you smell things from the spirit world?
Renee: This is what I'm going to do and I'm going to ask my guides.
Renee: Okay, I'm trying to look into X, Y, and Z thing.
Renee: Please send a smell.
Renee: You should.
Christine: Oh my God, and it should be something like so specific, like freesia or something.
Christine: I don't know, something that you don't typically smell.
Christine: That would be a great experiment.
Christine: The last psychic placement that I found is something called superconsciousness.
Christine: So the definition that I found is that the superconscious mind encompasses a level of awareness that sees beyond material reality and taps into the energy and consciousness behind that reality.
Christine: Some refer to this as the ether, the essence of the universe, a flow of electromagnetic waves that permeate all matter in space.
Christine: The way I interpreted this is, you know, this is the spirit world or the other side that we happen to connect to when we're reading energetically.
Christine: Renee and I, we both have the 58/18 channel.
Christine: We both have gate 17.
Christine: I have channel 64/47 and Renee has channel 34/10.
Christine: So I'd love to one day do a little bit more digging into these separate channels and gates on their own because I know they fall under the umbrella of clairvoyance or superconsciousness, but I'm sure there's something that differentiates them.
Renee: Very interesting stuff.
Christine: Yeah, this was a lot of fun.
Renee: If there's any listeners who have any of these psychic placements, please let us know.
Renee: Please write in and tell us if you've had psychic experiences to validate it.
Renee: That would be cool.
Christine: Especially if you have clairolfactance.
Renee: Please write in if you have that so you can tell me what I should be looking for.
Lessons
Renee: All right, what have we learned this week?
Renee: I have a doozy.
Renee: I've been listening to an audiobook.
Renee: It's called, I Didn't Know I Needed This by Eli Rallo.
Renee: What's hilarious and what I think is so funny about how she has named this book is, I'm feeling like I didn't know I needed to hear this because I thought I had done a sufficient amount of processing of my last relationship, but there's some sections where she's talking and it's just triggering all sorts of memories and I'm identifying some narratives that I carried that I didn't realize I was carrying at the time and how there was a disconnect because you can, on one hand, know, well, this is how I want things to be in the dynamic and this is how I wanna present and I wanna be authentic and I wanna use my voice and then also not exactly do that.
Renee: So if you're asked, oh, well, what do you want or what do you wanna do?
Renee: And then you don't know, it's not because you're indecisive, it's because you actually don't know.
Renee: Well, maybe there's work that could be done in that space so that you could build up the experience, build up the sense of identity in those spaces, no matter how small to then have that knowledge.
Renee: So then if you're asked that question, you actually know the answer or you can make your own request based on your wants, desires, preferences, whatever they are.
Renee: There was another thing I believe I read this morning and she was talking about the concept of having a spark with somebody when you first meet.
Renee: You're triggering or something within you subconsciously is recognizing old patterns or risk.
Renee: What you actually should be looking for is a feeling of safety.
Renee: I don't know if you've heard this before, Christine, but thrill seeking, fear, all of that, like connects in your brain.
Renee: So excitement and fear are like in the same wing.
Renee: So your body sometimes can't tell the difference between the two of them.
Renee: So you think you're excited about this person, but technically your subconscious is afraid of them or saying, red flag, red flag, I've seen this before.
Renee: And what I realized is it was so murky.
Renee: It was like I was feeling both.
Renee: And that's why I think I had trouble very early on.
Renee: And then through the relationship of being able to decipher, well, there's a spark, but then it's like, but then did I really feel safe?
Renee: That's why it was such a challenging relationship for me.
Christine: I just, I love it for you.
Christine: It makes me so happy.
Christine: And I think it's a good example for everyone else out there.
Christine: You know, breakups suck, I'm going through one myself, but the beautiful thing about them is that they allot us the time to learn more about ourselves so we can be better for our next relationship.
Christine: And just kudos to you for sharing that because I feel like that was so vulnerable.
Christine: Well, my, what I learned today is not that inspiring.
Renee: We'll see if people think it's inspiring.
Renee: Am I just thinking it's sad or poignant?
Renee: Hopefully, hopefully it feels poignant.
Renee: It's not gonna be for everybody.
Christine: No.
Christine: So I was at a St.
Christine: Patrick's Day brunch this weekend, and I was just talking with a bunch of people who had been to Iceland, and some of them have just gotten back from Iceland.
Christine: And a fun fact that I learned that I did not know was that in Iceland, your last name is the name of your father and then your relationship to him.
Christine: So if your dad's name is Anthony, you would be Anthony's son or Anthony daughter.
Christine: There's like a database for people to look up their relation to someone if they're going out on a date to basically see if they're related or not.
Renee: Do you have an example of the daughter version?
Renee: Because I've heard like Gustavsson and stuff like that, but I've never heard daughter at the end.
Renee: So that's the thing that I question.
Christine: Yeah, so I don't have an example of that.
Christine: And my friends were saying, anyone from Iceland who is now in America, our tradition is to take your husband's last name.
Christine: So it kind of got filtered out.
Christine: I don't have proof of this.
Christine: This could be a farce.
Christine: If it's wrong, it's my friends, it's not me.
Renee: What I've learned this week might be a lie.
Christine: Right.
Readings
Renee: Now on to our final segment.
Renee: We're gonna be channeling messages for our listeners.
Christine: It's a very futuristic space scape.
Christine: I'm gonna call them vehicles, but more futuristic looking.
Christine: And it looks like it's flying down this digital highway and things are moving really fast.
Christine: Park my vehicle, I take my helmet off, and I get off and I go inside.
Christine: It's like cottage core, everything's slow.
Christine: I'm making myself biscuits, I'm having a tea, I'm sitting down, everything is slowing down.
Christine: And I stop feeling nauseous and I start to feel my nervous system cop down.
Christine: I open my front door and it doesn't look like this very fast moving information highway space scape.
Christine: It looks like there's flowers growing and there's butterflies and the sun is out and there's a field.
Christine: I almost feel like when I get hangry and I need a snack, like I just needed to slow down for a minute and eat a biscuit, and now I feel better and I can present myself into the world and the world looks better.
Christine: The world is not black and white and gray anymore.
Christine: It's in color, it's vibrant, there are plants around, there's animals, the sun.
Christine: If you feel like you need to go spend a day eating biscuits and drinking tea, go do that because it's gonna make you a much better person and it's gonna allow you to experience the world in a much better way.
Christine: And you're gonna enjoy it more.
Christine: So Renee, what did you get?
Renee: What I got when I first tuned in to the collective was the term shipyard.
Renee: And then that was quickly accompanied by a broken leg with a cast on.
Renee: And the message that I was getting was don't be facetious.
Renee: That's when you treat something serious in an inappropriate way because you're applying humor to it.
Renee: Don't be facetious, take things seriously.
Renee: You have a leg injury, put the cast on it.
Renee: But it wasn't necessarily a message about self care per se.
Renee: It was mostly about taking bold and direct action to shape your future or reshape your future.
Renee: So rather than, whatever, this thing is going on, I have this problem, not a big deal, ha ha ha, try to laugh it off.
Renee: This is a very forceful message.
Renee: Do not sweep it under the rug.
Renee: Harness the issue, the seriousness around it, and use it to realign.
Renee: You're putting the cast on to realign.
Christine: I love that.
Christine: And human design is all about living in alignment with your-
Renee: Oh, my goodness.
Renee: There we go again.
Renee: But the mantra that I got with that was, I command my path.
Christine: Ooh, I love that.
Christine: My mantra was almost as silly as the fact that I learned, but it's in the voice of like your grandmother saying, have a snack, you'll feel better.
Christine: Do with that what you will.
Christine: Thanks for listening.
Renee: If you'd like to learn more, the resources we used to prepare for this episode are listed in the show notes.

Renee: We'll see you when the star is next to line.
Outro
Renee: We have coyotes.
Renee: So we're just like, oh!
Renee: They're all like fighting each other and they're all like barking or they sound like they're crying.
Christine: Is that comforting to you?
Renee: Just the howling by itself, not when they sound sad or like angry or something.
Christine: Oh, yeah.
Renee: But especially if I'm inside, like I'm not nervous.
Renee: I'm scared they're gonna somehow climb up to the third floor.
Renee: If it's in the distance, oh, then there's something serene about it.
Christine: I love that so much for you.
Christine: That sends serial killer vibes all the way down my spine.
Christine: If it's anything, crickets.
Christine: If it's a natural sound, I get uneasy.
Christine: If it's sirens and people screaming out in the street, I'm like, ah, the sounds of home.
Renee: So white noise machines don't work for you unless it's sirens.
Christine: Right.
Christine: Because if I listen to white noise, I feel like I can't hear what's going on and then I get nervous.
Christine: If there's any other New Yorkers here, like please write in because I feel like this is a common thing.
