Renee: Now, let's get into the episode.

Introducing Life Updates & Psychic Reading Episodes

Renee: Welcome to our first reading episode of season three.

Renee: Today's gonna be a mix of life updates, what's going on, and then of course, doing a psychic reading forecast.

Renee: Make sure that you listen to the 2026 forecast episode already out.

Renee: It was released in December of 2025.

Renee: It includes numerology, astrology, and then two psychic readings, one from Christine and I for the entire year ahead.

Renee: And this is really one to supplement that ongoing conversation.

Renee: For the personal life updates, in episode one, we did have some personal life updates, but we recorded that much earlier than the episode was released.

Renee: So from my perspective, we recorded that back in, I think November or December or something.

Renee: I am currently in the home stretch of February.

Renee: So I am several months out from that.

Renee: Things have changed or different.

Renee: I mentioned a little bit in the last episode, our Greek lore in practice, that 2026 has been absolute doozy.

Renee: It's really been a lot.

Renee: And I knew that astrologically coming in, I was talking about it in my classes all 2025 long, in my blog posts, in my 2026 life path calendar.

Renee: I knew that these first few months of the year were going to be very, very intense.

Renee: And I'm not even out of the woods yet.

Renee: By the time you're hearing this, you will be out of that.

Renee: I'm currently envious, and hopefully that's true.

Renee's Career Change

Renee: Since we recorded that episode, I got promoted, I got a new job.

Renee: Coincidentally, Christine and I have the same job title.

Renee: We're in very different fields, but we ended up getting a very similar job change.

Renee: And in fact, much closer than our normal six months apart, we've been on this cycle for a while where something will happen to me, and then six months later it happens to her, and vice versa.

Renee: She had been applying for that role for a long time, and I know in nature it changed.

Renee: She could correct the record, but I'm not aware of it being called that from the jump.

Renee: But that's the role that she got in, and that started for her in September.

Renee: I had this change in January, so I didn't get quite to six months.

Renee: I still would need several more months to get there.

Renee: I did think that was kind of an interesting turn of events, but ultimately what it ended up doing was it sent me down this whole collision course spiral of...

Renee: It wasn't even just that it was a new job, and it was defining what my responsibilities were going to be and taking a lot more on.

Renee: Not only was there just general disorganization, and that of course is one of my main skill sets to apply organization, but that psychologically everybody in the group was kind of in chaos because there was just major upheaval, there was a very sudden departure from the team.

Renee: So it was just especially disorganized, and I felt myself, I watched myself.

Renee: I was talking at myself, why are you doing this?

Renee: You're not supposed to be doing this.

Renee: Slipping back into the old pattern of, yes, I can do that, and just caretaking and jumping in, and I can solve that, and I had this idea.

Renee: I just was working so many hours, and I was within the course of just a couple weeks was watching myself burn out.

Renee: Like I just went from zero to really, really fast.

Renee: I decided to take a very hard turn.

Renee: I was like, okay, I gotta go back to what I put in place with Libra season.

Renee: Again, same time period as when Christine started her new job.

Renee: I gotta do a bit of what I was doing before.

Renee: First it was, okay, I'm not gonna work at night.

Renee: It took me like at least a week to try to adjust to the boundaries that I had let slip in literally just two weeks.

Renee: I was like so thrown off.

Renee: It was like really hard for me to kind of corral things and push things off, but I had to start telling people, I might get to this within the next week, but I might not, or I wasn't able to get to that because other things came up that were a higher priority.

Renee: Having to say those types of things and just to vocally reaffirm and reaffirm and reaffirm, this is a boundary that I need to set, or this is a new boundary that I'm put in place, and I need everybody to know it.

Renee: I made sure that the leadership team, when I implemented a new rule, much more recently, just within the last few weeks, Renee stops working at 6pm, whether it's for my W2, whether it's for my business, whether it's for the podcast.

Renee: This was a hard rule.

Renee: And I stuck to it for two weeks.

Renee: And then two days ago, I was on a meeting that ran two hours and 40 minutes.

Renee: So it went 40 minutes past my 6 p.m.

Renee: I was completely fried and then I was agitated and wired.

Renee: And then I kind of slipped the next day because I was like, I haven't worked in any podcast stuff and I'm so behind, I'm supposed to be recording.

Renee: I don't have any of my notes together.

Renee: They're all like in pictures.

Renee: I need to dictate them and I need to organize them.

Renee: So then I ended up working almost two hours over that too.

Renee: So I'm saying this now because I'm insisting I get back on the bandwagon ahead.

Renee: One day that threw me off and the second day went off and I'm getting back to that again.

Sleep Cycle & Work Boundaries

Renee: Something I've talked about on this podcast a lot is my sleep schedule as a ManiGen for people interested in human design.

Renee: We've talked about that many times over the course of the show, season one and two.

Renee: I have a lot of ideas.

Renee: I have generally a lot of energy.

Renee: I'm very driven and motivated to move the needle to put those ideas into action.

Renee: But what I realized, I had no idea this was gonna happen.

Renee: I love that I basically got bamboozled and tricked into this working out for me.

Renee: I've spent the last several years going, I don't know how to get my brain to shut off enough that I could start falling asleep earlier.

Renee: And guess what, stopping at six did that.

Renee: How does that relate?

Renee: By stopping at six, it gave me hours to start turning my brain off.

Renee: I would listen to podcasts because my schedule has been so busy, I can't listen to podcasts like what's going on in the news or pop culture or whatever it is.

Renee: I'll listen to that stuff after, but I do have the cutoff that I can't listen to that before bed.

Renee: I'll do some reading or something in the lead up to go to bed.

Renee: What I was finding, dear listener, is I kept falling asleep on the couch.

Renee: This never happens.

Renee: So I would start getting tired much earlier.

Renee: I hadn't changed anything anywhere else in my schedule other than stopping working several hours earlier.

Renee: I was so surprised to see the impact that that was having, and I've ultimately concluded, very simply, just that my brain was so wired and so active.

Renee: If I do certain types of activities too late in the evening, I know it gives me a second wind, but I didn't understand how intense it was and how much time I actually need to wind down so that I could go to bed at a better time.

Renee: So separately and tangentially and supplementarily, it was introduced a few months ago to do Spirit Hours, which I'm pretty sure I did mention on the podcast.

Renee: And at first, it was like I was setting my alarm for like or . or something, and I kept falling asleep.

Renee: I couldn't wake up.

Renee: But the point was it was to try to retrain my body.

Renee: So first I was retraining my body on the front end in the morning, and then it was like 7:30am, and then it was like 8 o'clock.

Renee: And so then now I've kind of been locked into this pattern for a few months time, and I still have more time of these, where it's like, okay, trying to get up and have my first hour of the day from 8 to 9, the spirit hours weren't every day, but to train my body on the front end to get up earlier so that I could use that morning time to have it be completely tech free, other than, of course, I write my dreams out of my phone, but no social media, no email, no notifications.

Renee: I could read, I could pull my cards, I could do yoga, which I wasn't doing at all, take a shower, make myself a full breakfast.

Renee: So I started doing that.

Renee: It was helping me to get up a little bit earlier.

Renee: Then I implemented the new boundary at the end of my work day to try to slow down, but I was doing my alternating when I was getting up in the morning.

Renee: Since I put this 6 PM work curfew in, I'm just going to get up for eight every single day.

Renee: Screw those spirit hours.

Renee: I'm doing them all the time.

Break the Good Girl Myth

Renee: I want to do another book plug because this season is all about, let's talk about books and stories.

Renee: Break the good girl myth, which I will link in the show notes.

Renee: I could not believe the perfect time that I was reading this book at because the high level synopsis, she goes through five different myths.

Renee: We're talking about myths, we're talking about lore.

Renee: Can you believe this?

Renee: That girls are taught at a young age, things that we are conditioned to do, to believe, how we are hypervigilant, how we are controlling, monitoring our behavior, in such a way that is harming ourselves psychologically, emotionally, impacting our relationships, impacting our joy, connection, happiness, etc.

Renee: And you take a little quiz at the beginning, I took the quiz, then reading the book and I, wow, I felt really called out by some of the sections in there.

Renee: So I do recommend that if you're someone who is curious or is looking to undo certain patterns.

Renee: What was really great about the book is she had some journal prompts in there and you know, I did those.

Renee: Once I finished the book, I carved out some time, I did a little meditation and then filled out all the different journal prompts.

Renee: And what was also included in there was establishing work life balance and routine using a very specific method.

Renee: So that was how I came up with my stopping work at six to shift what I was doing in that morning and making it a daily routine.

Renee: This is where the guides are working in tandem because I've been making adjustments to my schedule with them, detoxing from technology, shifting my morning hours since September.

Renee: And so then I have this recent turn where I'm like, I was recognizing I'm falling off a cliff here.

Renee: I know that I'm doing this.

Renee: I'm not supposed to be doing this.

Renee: I know this is a pattern, career wounding and workplace wounding and things that I've done before.

Renee: And I have to get out of that.

Renee: And so I identified it very quickly as I was doing it.

Renee: But then I was having trouble like spinning my wheels, I don't know how to get out of this.

Renee: And then I'm reading this book, and it was giving me the exact information I needed to hear at the time.

Renee: I did the meditation, I did the journal prompts, I came up with the practice, I looked at it and went, oh my gosh, am I going to be able to make this change?

Renee: And I implemented it, and as I've already mentioned, the 6 p.m.

Renee: has been incredibly helpful, but I also have the boundary of limiting how much work I do on the weekend.

Renee: I can't go past 50% of my waking hours be related to work stuff, podcasts, W2, and my actual business.

Renee: So that's the tricky part is I have so many different avenues being put under the umbrella of work.

Renee: It does add up quickly because you might say, well, 50% of your work time, like that's a lot, that's the whole weekend.

Renee: Well, it's just because I'm doing a lot of things.

Renee: I want to do them and I also quote unquote need to do some of them to earn money.

Renee: It's for financial reasons, it's for inspiration, it's for creativity.

Renee: But there's the production piece.

Renee: I mean, think about when I talked about the meditation with Aphrodite, hyperproductivity, doing, doing, doing, rather than just existing, enjoying the process or being present.

Renee: It's been a great way to table set because it's so easy, and I didn't realize how such a bad habit it was.

Renee: The reflex of checking your email.

Renee: Because it opens up a can of worms, you're just like, oh, oh my gosh, well, I got to get back to that person.

Renee: Or like you have this stress spike of seeing something that somebody said, and then you sit there and you're writing this email, and you're like, I shouldn't be doing this, I should do this tomorrow, and it becomes a whole thing.

Renee: In short, since our last update, which for you wasn't as long ago as it is for me, I have continued to evolve in this area.

Renee: I have become busier.

Renee: I have put some new boundaries in place, yay, to corral myself, to make myself feel more grounded, more nourished, move slower, think slower, is it 100% perfect, 100% of the time?

Renee: No, but it's much better.

Renee: And I'm only a few weeks in at this point.

Renee: When we do our next life update after the next lore, which I haven't even started researching yet, I have a book that I'm excited to read, and no, I'm still not going to tell you what it is, it's going to be a surprise, haha.

Renee: I still have to go through that whole era of learning about that other culture.

Renee: And then I'll do another check-in and maybe, hopefully, Christine will be in a position where she'll be able to participate at that point.

Renee: If I've been feeling it with everything that's been going on, and I'm like, I'm just trying to hold on and maintain all the things that I'm doing, I know for her, it's very different as a projector and with strengths that she has to navigate with something similar.

Renee: So most people that I know were all being tested with our boundaries, with our ability to handle and hold so much.

Renee: I've talked to a lot of people going through very similar experiences.

Renee: I'm just over here having my fingers crossed, toes crossed that as we get out of the first few months of this year, as things start clearing up, have a reunion.

Renee: But for now, I'm just I'm squeezing in recording like when I'm able to.

Renee: I am here to empathize.

Renee: I'm here to support.

Renee: I'm here to vent to.

Renee: Feel free to send a message, a DM, an email, leave a comment.

Renee: As they say, we're all in this together.

Renee: I would do it for a High School Musical rewatch.

Renee: I'm just gonna channel in real time, so you're gonna hear it unfiltered.

Psychic Reading for the Collective

Renee: All right, pretty simply what came through is that this reading applies to the next 23 days.

Renee: I'm not looking at a calendar, and I'm not going to, because I don't want to be influenced by it.

Renee: But from the date that this episode drops, days out, including the drop date, you'll be able to reference that by looking ahead.

Renee: I'm just seeing somebody lifting weights, really, really heavy weights in a weight room in the gym, building muscle, but I'm also getting that it feels measured.

Renee: The focus I just keep seeing is they're just lifting with their arms.

Renee: We're targeting this one muscle group consistently over time.

Renee: And I'm just seeing as the person is doing this, like their biceps and their triceps and shoulders and everything, they're like exploding, they're getting completely ripped.

Renee: And that is what we're doing over the next 23 days.

Renee: We're putting a lot of energy into the growth, expansion, strengthening.

Renee: I'm also getting as relates to your reserves as well.

Renee: So it doesn't really feel like it's a boundary conversation.

Renee: I know I have been talking about that a lot today, but that feels unrelated.

Renee: And again, this is being cast away in the future, not my present, my experience.

Renee: But for wherever the collective is at, being strong enough to be able to move mountains, that we can push them, that we can be a driver, that we can be a force to be reckoned with, that's how it's coming in.

Renee: That's why it's a training period.

Renee: A visual, I'm getting associating it with tarot, is the Five of Wands, that is a training card.

Renee: It's like you're being challenged, you're being pushed, but you're gonna develop something really, really important on the other side.

Renee: In astrology, with aspects, a square.

Renee: So there's tension, there's buildup.

Renee: That's what happens when we are strengthening our muscles, when we're working them out, you're gonna have soreness.

Renee: You're like, oh man, I haven't worked this in a while.

Renee: And now I'm having to work it every day.

Renee: Oh my gosh, you're gonna have major muscle fatigue.

Renee: So it's like that, but spiritual, physical first, then spiritual, then mental, then emotional.

Renee: So this is very much being tiered.

Renee: And the physical and spiritual are like at the top.

Renee: There's the biggest areas of growth and muscle building and what's being targeted.

Renee: And I think that makes a lot of sense, given that this quote workout is targeting something.

Renee: We're not trying to work on everything.

Renee: We're putting our energies in one area.

Renee: And I do want to clarify when I'm saying physically manifested.

Renee: This doesn't dictate.

Renee: For the next 23 days, you should be going to the gym and lifting weights.

Renee: It's not meant to be that literal.

Renee: It's more so that the work that you're doing, whatever it is that you're targeting, which could be in any area of life, takes a physical toll, takes a spiritual toll, supports you in physical wellness, healing, growth and strength, and deepening your spiritual abilities, gifts, connections, practices.

Renee: It's not necessarily just a one-to-one.

Renee: And it's also that there can be a lot of manifestations, but those are heavily the top two.

Renee: And the verb feels like a very, very, very small subset of people.

Renee: It might be that whatever the quote work is that you were doing is advancing something for you, building up the strength, fortitude in the mental and emotional spaces.

Renee: But very, very small minority, this feels like this is like 2%, 5%.

Renee: It's very, very low.

Renee: Most people are really way up at the top there, and there's some sort of physical manifestation.

Renee: There's some sort of spiritual manifestation.

Renee: What's coming is, it's really what we need right now.

Renee: It's the medicine that we need right now.

Renee: Wherever you are at when this is releasing, a time for me that is undetermined, I have no idea when we're even talking about because I didn't look up a date before doing this.

Renee: It keeps coming back to it's more fortitude than resilience.

Renee: It's not about being knocked down.

Renee: It's about pushing.

Renee: We're pushing, we're pushing, we're pushing.

Renee: We keep going.

Renee: But we're not forcing.

Renee: We're not forcing something that's not meant to be.

Renee: We're just, we're pushing, we're driving.

Renee: It's like we're like a rocket moving, propelled towards whatever that vision is, turning that into a reality.

Renee: And it comes through the blood, sweat and tears.

Renee: It comes through the impact on us in our physical form, our physical body, our spiritual body.

Renee: Whichever category you fall in, it does feel like, again, there's the soreness or tiredness, but it's not so depleting that you can't keep going.

Renee: It's a sprint, not a marathon.

Renee: A 23-day sprint.

Renee: What can I drive forward?

Renee: How can I make that change, take that action?

Renee: Let me get to the other side of the days.

Renee: Where are we at?

Renee: Are we better off?

Renee: Are we just tired and fatigued?

Renee: Because we worked really hard and we just collapsed to the floor like, oh my gosh, I just worked so hard and now I'm completely exhausted, and now I'm fully in relaxation mode, and rest and recovery for your physical and spiritual body.

Renee: And it feels like it's a coin flip.

Renee: For some people, that is the response.

Renee: You push yourself a lot, and it's not that the rest and recovery mode that you go into is because you went overboard.

Renee: Your mind may say, I think I went way too hard here.

Renee: But the encouragement is you actually didn't.

Renee: You did just enough to really be pushing out your comfort zone.

Renee: We're moving where the comfort zone is.

Renee: It's not that we're leaping from one side to the other, it's that we were stretching ourselves, stretching what we thought we were capable of doing, what we thought we could withstand when you're lifting the weights.

Renee: It's like, okay, I'm just going to keep adding more weight, even though I'm still sore from the day before, because I know I'm going to be able to do this.

Renee: By just adding a little bit more, a little bit more, a little bit more, I'm going to get stronger.

Renee: And so at the end, it's the integration, it's the integration of that effort that our body, our spirit body, our physical body just needs to be at rest.

Renee: We don't want to play that game with ourselves of thinking that there's any reason for regret that we shouldn't have done that.

Renee: We shouldn't have stretched ourselves that much because it is worth it.

Renee: We need the integration period.

Renee: Now for the other 50% for that coin flip, I see them as like, there's big stars, sunshine in their eyes, they're gleaming, they're inspired, they're skipping down the street, they're jumping up and down, high-fiving people.

Renee: They're so, so energized.

Renee: Oh my gosh, I am jazzed that I was able to do that.

Renee: This is amazing.

Renee: I can't believe that I pushed myself that much.

Renee: I'm so proud of myself.

Renee: It honestly doesn't feel like those people then get to the point of crashing because it's not like, oh, they're at the high and they're like, oh my god, this is awesome.

Renee: And then they crash.

Renee: It actually doesn't feel like it comes for those people.

Renee: It's either like, you know what, I need to go into rest and integration mode, or I'm flying into that up level, and both up level.

Renee: If you do this work, if you put the energy into this targeted area, the up level is coming.

Renee: The up level is on the agenda, on the itinerary.

Renee: And how you are responding to this experience, again, there's no right or wrong.

Renee: We have a couple main options here of the route that you may go.

Renee: And if you're aware of what that is, then it'll just give you a little bit of insight into, not what the work was, but like what it means for you.

Renee: Again, it's not really a reflection on you in a positive or negative way.

Renee: Like it's not better to be the person that's jazzed and jumping around.

Renee: That sounds positive, but the other one is positive too.

Renee: So I do want to have that disclaimer in there that neither option is better.

Renee: They're both useful.

Renee: They're both healing.

Renee: They're both supported, but maybe you're someone where it's going to do so much more for you, for your life, for your spirit, for your growth.

Renee: That's maybe out of character to be the person that's jazzed.

Renee: And that's great.

Renee: It's great to live that way a little bit.

Renee: And same thing for the inverse.

Renee: It's the medicine, the thing that you need right now.

Renee: And because we have been pushing and stretching ourselves out of our comfort zone, we can do some things that feel a little bit different because we also believe in ourselves more than we can.

Renee: As I said, that last line, I was thinking, well, should I be going further?

Renee: Is there more to this?

Renee: But it felt very, very clear to me as I was winding out that last sentence that that was it.

Renee: It's a dot, dot, dot.

2026 Forecast

Renee: This is a be continued reminder to listen back to the 2026 forecast and see how this little chapter slots into that story, that narrative.

Renee: If it's just a post-it note on the page of additional info and context.

Renee: But I am rooting for you.

Renee: I'm rooting for me.

Renee: I have no idea what this entails for me.

Renee: I'm going to have to think about this.

Renee: I'm probably going to be just as surprised as you when I hear this come out a few months from now.

Renee: What does this actually mean?

Renee: I don't know.

Renee: But I look forward to finding out.

Renee: If you have any thoughts, reflections on today's reading, or if you want to talk or connect about my little behind the scenes life update, send me an email, send me a message, send me a DM on social media.

Renee: I am more than happy to have some guests come on here to talk about lore in general, or maybe some of the good girl stuff, other types of myth and lore, whether past or present, and just have those as a little bonus episode, some supplementary content.

Renee: So if you're interested in coming on, you can also reach out on my website, I have a contact form and there is an option in the drop down or check box if you're interested in being a guest, or also having me as a guest on your podcast, if you have one.
